With only two weeks before Spence and Garcia collide, PBC on FOX drops another installment of Fight Camp.
The December 5th welterweight showdown between Errol Spence and Danny Garcia must be just around the corner as even PBC on FOX is getting excited, immediately dropping their second installment of Fight Camp, featuring a behind the scenes look at both fighters leading into the bout.
This second episode starts off with morning run by Danny Garcia, who says he’s building up his legs and endurance for this fight.
“You know, it’s been a lot of hard work put in,” Garcia says. “And we’re more than halfway there. I’m just excited, I just gotta stay mentally and physically strong. We’re gonna rest for a little bit (after my run) and then go to the gym, work out, work hard. Same thing everyday ‘til fight night.”
Shortly after we segue into routine safety protocols for putting on this event during the COVID pandemic, with members of both teams being tested twice weekly, which obviously isn’t the most comfortable thing in the world. But right after that it’s back to work for Team Garcia.
“As the fight gets closer, the atmosphere changes because everyday that goes by, we gotta make it count,” Garcia says.
Meanwhile in Dallas, Spence is working diligently in the ring, fully expecting Garcia to come into this fight at his best. Spence could have held his camp away from home like many fighters do, but says he feels the most comfort being around his family and loved ones. Danny Garcia takes a nearly identical position on training close to his family, who then reflect on how far they’ve now come.
