Daniel Ek’s Arsenal bid expected ‘within days’ as ‘deal moves quickly’
Daniel Ek takeover bid
Since the breakdown of the Super League, the fallout from supporters across the country of the Big Six sides has been vocal through protests and social media campaigns.
From an Arsenal perspective, the club has seen a huge amount of backlash, to specifically in the direction of their owners KSE which is headed up by the American Stan Kroenke.
Demonstrations were held on Friday calling for KSE to sell and leave. In response, it emerged that Spotify co-founder Daniel Ek was willing to throw his hat into the ring should a sale be possible.
As a kid growing up, I’ve cheered for @Arsenal as long as I can remember. If KSE would like to sell Arsenal I’d be happy to throw my hat in the ring.

The story developed further this morning when the Daily Telegraph’s Matt Law published a story confirming that the intent was indeed legitimate and in addition, Arsenal legends Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp and Patrick Vieira were all on board with the Swede.
I have it on good authority that Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp and Patrick Vieira have joined Daniel Ek in his bid to buy Arsenal FC and I am told it is very real. #afc Story: https://t.co/jKhk28kZ9k

Accelerating Ek bid
The speed at which this story is moving has shown little sign of decelerating.
ITV have acquired information suggesting that a bid from Ek could occur in just a matter of days.
‘Swedish Spotify billionaire Daniel Ek is set to launch a takeover bid for Arsenal ‘within days’, teaming up with three of the club’s famous Invincibles – Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp and Patrick Vieira.’
‘ITV News understands an official announcement of a £1.8bn takeover attempt of the north London club could come soon.’

Stay tuned for further updates as a bid for the club for the first time materialises since Alisher Usmanov’s £1 billion bid in 2017 to buy out the remaining 67% shares in the club.
